Itinerary |
Day One: Your friendly tour guide will pick you up from your hostel, bright and early at 7am, when you'll begin your journey down south. Here you'll pass the stunning Mac Donnell Ranges before heading further into outback Australia.
By the evening you'll reach the unique mining town of Coober Pedy, where the majority of locals sleep underground! Here you'll sleep like one of them too, in dorm room accommodation. You'll also have time to check out the charms of the town and have a look at the museum and gift shop.
Day Two: After a hearty breakfast, you'll hit the road again and continue on the long and not-so-winding road down to the bright lights of Adelaide.
Why travel on the train or bus when you can take this tour and see so much more!

Alice Motor Inn/Alice Lodge Backpackers reserves the right to alter the itinerary of any of the tours and arrange alternative carriers to those advertised if necessary. No refunds will be given in these circumstances or in the event of any delay, curtailment or alteration of a trip resulting from any cause including severe weather conditions or mechanical failure.
A minimum number of passengers is required to operate each tour. It may therefore be necessary to cancel a scheduled departure and to offer an alternative or full refund for that tour. Alice Lodge backpackers can’t guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or baggage.
Alice Motor Inn/Alice Lodge Backpackers will charge the following fees in event of booking cancellations: Before 48 Hours -25% of Fare. 24 Hours - 48 Hours-50% of Fare. Within 24 Hours 100% of Fare.
There is a $1 per $100 credit card levy when processing bookings. |
