I`m on a world trip and last time at Alice Lodge was 7 years ago after a 3-day Uluru/KataTujta/ Kings Canyon tour - Uluru was calling so in Australia and straight to Alice Springs and Alice Lodge ... 7 years ago I spent one whole day in the pool after the \"Desert Trip´ in February!!! Last time it was mid august and the pool was cold- But nice to spent the time at Uluru with 28 Grad Celsius in daytime and 0-5 Grad Celsius in nighttime (some chilling on my sleeping bag sleeping in the outback). I felt very happy to see the lovely big peppercorn trees again. lots of memories .. Back again Dec 1st (Summer) after a good time in Darwin, Lombok and Bali (Indonesia), and 500-700 km around Alice Springs...(I really fell in love with that Desert land here...)
Alice Lodge is great, EVERYTHING IS SO NICE AND CLEAN... painted and cared for- P.J & Alicja are doing a great job! cheap lovely food, tour advice, free internet, lot of talks with travellers from all over the world, the trees,lots of birds, I love the quietness of the place- good vibrations...and it is uplifted now so much by the work of the two owners...ah, and you can get work in Alice Springs if you stay.. I`m off to Perth and then to India...

See you next time Alice Lodge ....(with a working visa then for me!) because this is a great place to come back.
